STEAMED RICE CAKE

Today I’m here with a ramadan special item from Kannur. This pola, which appears exclusively during Ramadan, is prepared in many ways. I’ve come up with a quick recipe here. There is no need to ferment it or prepare it. Because in other words, you will take a pot, pour coconut water in it and put the papadam. The next day, we’ll just clean it. No washing, just a rinse. If the flour does not rise, remove. It takes a little bit of work. I made it in a simple way here.

Ingredients

1 cup Raw rice
1/2 cup cooked rise
Salt as needed
Water
It was well steamed

In the bowl pour the batter into a heat resistent bowl
1 tsp yeast
1tsp sugar
little hot water

By the time the rice is grinded, the yeast has risen. Pour the batter into it and mix it well with your hands. When mixing with your hands, the dough should be seen on the lines of the hand. You will see it in the video.
Then close and tie it with a cloth. Do not open for an hour.
