Consumer pays only a part of the total implementation cost of the solar panel. The other part is borne by KSEBL. Consumer will be eligible for a part of the energy generated from the plant based on your investment. Based on your average monthly electricity consumption you can choose from the three options.

1. 1 kW പ്ലാന്റിൽ നിന്നും പ്രതിമാസം ശരാശരി 120 യൂണിറ്റ് വരെ ലഭിക്കുന്നു
2. ഉത്പാദിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിന്റെ 50 % ഉപഭോക്താവിന് നൽകുന്നു.
3. പ്ലാന്റ് കപ്പാസിറ്റി 2 മുതൽ 3 kW വരെ
4. 1 kW പ്ലാന്റ് സ്ഥാപിക്കുന്നതിന് ഉപഭോക്താവ് മുടക്കേണ്ടത് Rs.13500/- (അതായത് സ്ഥാപിതവിലയായ (ഏകദേശം) Rs.54000/- ത്തിന്റെ 25 % )
5. പ്ലാന്റിന്റെ മെയിന്റനൻസ് 25 വർഷത്തേക്ക് KSEB നിർവഹിക്കും
6. രണ്ടു മാസത്തിൽ 400 യൂണിറ്റ് വരെ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നവർക്ക് മോഡൽ 1C അഭികാമ്യം.
ഉദാഹരണം
3 kW സ്ഥാപിക്കാൻ ചിലവ് = 3 *54000 =162000 രൂപ
ഉപഭോക്താവ് മുടക്കേണ്ടത് = 162000 *25% = 40500 രൂപ
2 മാസത്തെ ഉത്പാദനം = 3 *120 *2 =720 യൂണിറ്റ്
ഉപഭോക്തൃ വിഹിതം =720 *50 % = 360 യൂണിറ്റ്
അതായത്; 2 മാസത്തേക്ക് 400 യൂണിറ്റ് ഉപയോഗിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്ന കൺസ്യൂമറിന്, 3 kW പ്ലാന്റ് സ്ഥാപിക്കുന്നതോടുകൂടി 360 യൂണിറ്റ് ഉപഭോക്തൃ വിഹിതമായി ലഭിക്കുകയും ,അങ്ങനെ Rs.1960/- വരേണ്ട ബിൽ Rs.281 /-ആയി ചുരുങ്ങുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു
