This is the easiest way of making tasty and soft kerala porotta.

Ingredients

maida 3 cup
salt to taste
sugar 1.5 tsp
egg 1
ghee and oil 1tsp

Take the above ingredients in a bowl.Mix well.Add water little by little and knead well.Grease the counter top and place the dough.Add oil and knead well.Keep the kneaded dough back to bowl.Cover and let it rest for an hour.Take 2tbsp ghee and 2 tbsp oil in a bowl.We can use this mix for rolling and cooking.All purpose flour for dusting. After an hour make bolls and roll it.5 easy methods of rolling is shown in video.Spread each dough using hand.Heat a tawa, add ghea and oil mix.Place the rolled porotta and fry .Beat porotta with the heat.Soft porotta is ready.
