Instant variety Dosa

Ingredients

Raw rice / Idli rice – 1½ cup (Soaked for 2 hours)
Grated coconut – 3 handfuls
Onion – 1 big (Finely chopped)
Green chilly
Curry leaves
Tomato ketchup – 2 tbsp
Salt

Steps

Grind rice to a smooth paste adding some water.
Add more water, if required, to make it to the consistency of dosa batter.
Add salt, ketchup, green chilly, curry leaves, onion and grated coconut.
Taste and adjust the flavour of ketchup.
If possible, cover and let it rest for 30 minutes.

Heat a griddle / dosa tawa.
Season with some oil.
Pour a ladle of the batter. Do not spread.
Sprinkle some oil/ghee.
Cook on high heat.
Flip and cook.
Enjoy the variety dosa with chutney.
