Green Peas Curry

compared to other vegetables green peas have higher levels of protein. Blood sugar control is the best benifit of green peas.They also have a high level of vitamin k and fiber..here introduce a simple and tasty green peas curry .

Ingredients

Green Peas 1 glass ( soak water at 8 hours)
Potato 1 (finely chopped)
carrot 1(chopped)
Green chilli 1
Onion 1 ( sliced)
Cinnamon, Cloves,star anise
Turmeric powder 1/4 tablespoon
coriander powder 1/2 tablespoon
Pepper powder 1/4 tablespoon
salt as needed
Water as needed
Coconut milk 1 cup
Oil 1.1/2 tablespoon
Mustard seed 1 tablespoon
Shallot sliced
Ginger (sliced) 1 tablespoon
Garlic (sliced ) 1 tablespoon
Dry red chilli 2
Curry leaves
Fennel seed 1/2, tablespoon

How to make

Take a pressure cooker and add green peas, carrot,onion,potato and green chilli into it. Then add cinnamon, cloves and star anise into it.Later add turmeric powder,coriander powder,pepper powder ,salt and water as needed into it.Then cook it until some whistle comes from pressure cooker.off the flame. Then open the cooker mix the vegetable well.
Take a pan and heat oil in it.After heating oil add mustard seeds, shallots sliced and saute well.After that add ginger and garlic sliced into it.Then add red dry chilli and curry leaves into it.. Then transfer cooked green peas from pressure cooker to the pan.Later we can add 1 cup coconut milk into it. Close the pan and cook it for 5 minutes. Open lid after 5 minutes and add 1/2 tablespoon fennel seed into it for a flavour.Transfer into a bowl and let it cool.
