Potato is the staple food of pf many households.It is very cheap and easily available in our home .Potato is the excellent source of vitamins and minerals. Here introduce very simple and tasty potato curry.It is the best combination for chappathi , poori, idiyappam etc…

Ingredients

Coconut oil 1.1/2 tablespoon
Mustard seed 1 tablespoon
Red chilli 2
Curry leaves
Onion 1 (finely chopped )
Potato 2(finely chopped)
Green chilli 1
Turmeric powder 1/4 tablespoon
Coconut milk (1/2 of one coconut )
Garam masala 1/4 tablespoon

How to make

Heat a pan add coconut oil into it. After heating coconut oil add mustard seeds, then add curry leaves and red chilli along with that.Later we can add sliced onion and potatoes into it.mix well. After that we can add salt as needed and mix it.Close the pan and cook it for 5 minutes.After 5 minutes we can add turmeric powder,saute well. Later we can add coconut milk into it.Close the pan and cook it for 10 minutes.Then add garam masala and mix well. Close the pan and cook it for 1 minute. Now the milk curry is ready.
